Patrylo, Inc. was selected as the design/build company by Atlas Roofing Corporation for its 75,000 sf roofing felt manufacturing facility.
Patrylo, Inc. completed the design and construction three months ahead of schedule and provided significant project savings to Atlas.
The project included a 1600 hp boiler, stainless steel piping, compressed air, vacuum system for dewatering, pneumatic wood chip transport system, paper machine line speed of 400 feet-per-minute and pile foundations which have been optically aligned.
Patrylo's process group self-performed the pa-per machine refurbishment as well as all the millwrighting and miscellaneous iron field work. They also completed all process, instrumentation and controls, general arrangements, and process flow diagrams.
