Project Highlight: FiberVisions Gemini Line Installation

Forza Group served as the prime contractor for a $20 million industrial vertical integration, transforming an existing facility to house a high-capacity polyolefin fiber production line. This mission-critical retrofit required the demolition of existing slabs and the abatement of an asbestos-contaminated roof to clear the path for a six-story vertical process flow. Our team self-performed the fabrication and erection of 1 million pounds of structural steel, including the installation of a suspended walkway between towers and a five-story plus polymer handling structure to support the continuous production line.

To power and support this massive equipment line, we deployed a 100-person multidisciplinary crew to execute the mechanical, electrical, and civil scopes. Key technical deliverables included the installation of dual 5,000-amp electrical services, precision rigging and millwrighting for the Gemini equipment, and the routing of process piping from rail unloading stations to the building’s summit. This project underscores our mastery of high-tonnage steel erection and complex utility infrastructure within a live, hazardous industrial environment.
